Work Area Platform

Our customer was tasked with installing a work platform and staircase to allow easy access to maintenance locations and eliminate the need for man lifts to improve safety and workability.

The area consisted of a large tank and elevated platform, which was only accessible by ladder. We designed a layout with a staircase and access walkway between platforms to increase accessibility with a more efficient pathway.

Our engineers sized the steel components, such as I-beams, HSS columns, stair stringers, and connection details to ensure a strong design while optimizing components for cost.
